    Don't take my picture- Wood duck

    (i) Wood duck doing a bit of "ducking" to avoid being photographed.

    The first shot is probably the best you have posted from your recent trip despite him swimming slightly away from you and i like the water ripples.

    The shadows are a little dark and would benefit from using shadows and highlights in Elements or you could probably do something similar in DPP, as there is more detail lurking there

        Nice. I like the ripples and the duck is beautifully shot.

                Sorry missed the pun but having just read your post again I now see it.

                Its old age, lots of things are not working at speed any more!

                  Thanks Stephen and Ant. Not to worry as I am sure I am older than all you lot & try to pull my "rank" now and then.

                  Strangely, I have not seen this Carolina Wood duck in Slimbridge, your nearest WWT Stephen, which I used to visit very often when living in Cardiff.
