I see exactly what you mean and agree.

Crop a little off the left and it is even stronger as a shot.

I have a very similar shot like this of a treecreeper flying towards me. Here's the OOC shot.

I love it, too. Makes you look twice, which is a great quality for a photo to have.
Personally, I'd have claimed that it was my intended shot all along, and look how much harder it is to focus on a falling peanut than a bird. PIF anyone?
