    Shags from Staffa

    As well as puffins on Staffa there are other birds as well, like Shags.

    This Shag was incredibly tolerant of me and stood watch from it's perch. Then I realised why...

    It was incredibly dark and hard to get any shot at all. Since I didn't want to distress the youngster I kept a decent distance and restrained myself from using a flash, so this is a bit of a noisy image and an aggressive crop (I hate cropping but it was that or nothing).

    If you do get a chance to visit this island I highly recommend it. :)

              If you get a nice sunny day you'll not regret it. I'm going there again in 3 weeks if the weather is OK.
