      A local nature reserve near Christchurch - see here

      its a good place for stonechats and the occasional dartford warblers as well

            Nice shot Stan. It looks like that's another place herself and myself need to visit.

                      it must be awful living within spitting distance of all the photo opportunities you have there ..
                      there are a few nearby but a lot of the time we are travelling much further away to get the shots, eg, Barnes 200 mile round trip, Slimbridge 250 mile round trip and Northumberland 700 mile round trip - OK the last one is for our holiday
