        my 300 f4 replaced my 100-400 about 5 years ago now and no regrets

            Nice pics. I like the first two a wee bit better, mainly because the eyes can be seen very clearly.

                  I think you are right Brian although its probably a result of the download from flickr - sometimes happens if you download at a different size to that which was uploaded
