I looked at both images and if anything the flickr image looks sharper! Does flickr adjust sharpness ??:- Ian

Thanks Tigger for taking a look and comparing the images. Flickr does not do anything but merely mirrors my image as it appears on my computer when I download from the memory card. Then from my computer I upload to flickr. So as far as I know, the IQ remains the same. There is no "intermediary" agent like Imageshack/photobucket involved in posting images to the forum. I will try to post another image just for comparison purposes.

Don't know Tigger as I have not adjusted anything on the pics- other then a bit of sharpening and cropping whilst in my computer before uploading to flickr. Perhaps these last two might confirm things better.

These look way better Nat than the ones you posted via Photobucket/Imageshack, they're brighter and a lot sharper, I've just had a look at your other images on Flikr and again shots you posted previously especially the birds are a vast improvement, I know Stan always recommends Flikr as it mirrors what you see on your monitor with no degradation in posting as others seem to, I bet you're pleased with them
