    My favourite Kingfisher images - what do you think?

    I have posted a number of images of KFs over the past 2 weeks. These 2 images are my favourites from my recent opportunity to photograph KFs. The conversion to low res jpeg in LR5 does not do the full size images justice.The "contour lines" in the background are due to the conversion to low res.

    1DX + 300mmMKII f2.8 L IS + 1.4xMKIII

              Whilst i like the stepping pose of the second, with the fish facing the wrong way, I prefer the first shot. Whilst they look good on the forum, both look even better and detailed on flickr
