    Singing Skylark

    Have got lots of skylark shots over the past few weeks and finally managed to get one singing on the ground

    Nice one Stan. Very sharp and full of detail. Wish I was younger to lug a decent lens like yours!

          Perfect composition and stunning background. I just wonder whether the foliage makes the base a bit heavy, though there's little that can be done about it. Still a very nice shot and one I'd be pleased with.

              I just wonder whether the foliage makes the base a bit heavy, though there's little that can be done about it.
              same ground habitat as all my previous skylark shots - the field is covered with probably ex mole hills which over time have been covered with grasses etc and this is where the skylarks like to forage
