    Yellow Golden Pheasant chick

    2 of these little chicks hatched out this morning. They are Yellow Golden Pheasants and I use a broody Pekin bantam to do the sitting as the adult Pheasants see their offspring as a threat in the aviary and attack them. The bantams make very god mothers and have also raised ducks for me, but get a bit bemused when the ducklings take to the water!

                  Difficult to improve, apart from climbing in the nesting box with them!!!
