    Female Stonechat - collecting

    Whilst the male from the other thread kept watch, the female was collecting grass for their nest. Here she is perched on top of a gorse bush, waiting for the coast to be clear before dropping down into the nest

                      I watched her collecting the grass as well - not picked up but growing grass pulled out of the ground with her beak
