A quick visit down to the Red Kite Feeding Centre at Llanddeusant yesterday from my home 15 miles down the road in Llandybie. There were about 80 birds feeding and I have quite a few quite decent shots still to process.

For those wishing to visit, feeding time is 3pm BST (2pm GMT in the winter) and the postcode is SA19 9YG. Admission is £4 for adults, £3 concessions. These charges pay for the bird's food and upkeep of the hide and feeding area. There is a loo, but no catering, so bring your own refreshments.

Note: I have no commercial relationship to this feeding centre, but Pete and Roz, who have run it for 18 years, are my good friends.

1 and 2 are good but the horizon needs straightening on the first. With 3, although a nice pose too much of the bird is in shadow resulting in no detail in the underside of te rear and top side of the front wings

Very good shots Andy, you obviously get much closer to the kites there, with excellent results.
Looks as tho I need to pay a visit to the homeland soon!
