    Might be wrong but that looks a lot like a whimbrel to me.

            Beak looks a bit short and thick. Eye stripe not something you get on curlew.

              I would go for whimbrel too - even better that a curlew as much less common

                yep just checked it myself ,note to self always double check i.d's . larger than normal influx of varieties coming in now not sure which way to head .

                    Not too common and often ident as curlew. Probably you're not use to seeing either.
