    Difficulty shooting a bird

You might not think it would be too difficult to get a shot of this bird, after all it was just sat there, but it took ages before it would keep it's head still with the eye in view. No wonder I prefer landscapes!

Thanks Stan. I've done a few attempts at birds before but generally flighty little ones and you either get or don't get a reasonable shot depending how quick you are before they go. I think I was expecting this to be easy because it was obviously used to people and just sat there with no intention of getting up and moving as I approached but it just wouldn't keep its head still. I think I might specialise in shots of wooden decoy ducks, which should solve the problem.

Would you like orange or black cherry sauce with that??

Now that's an idea - it would solve the problem of it moving and provide dinner afterwards. Certainly better than a wooden decoy.
