Thanks Lee , yes this male has a claw missing on his left foot and has been left with a stump , he is one of three males I photograph regularly in my garden.

Thanks for the feedback its much appreciated. I am fortunate that our garden backs onto a woodland and open fields so we are fortunate to attract a decent range of birds into the garden.
