This male Sparrowhawk makes frequent visits to our bird feeding station but does not usually hang around long even when he makes a kill. Yesterday he caught a Greenfinch and started plucking it on the grass. Quickly grabbed the camera which had my 70-200mm lens on and managed a couple of quick shots before he flew off. These are a large crop as ideally I would have had a longer lens on but I did not want to risk missing the shot whilst changing lenses.
