    Hi Dave,
    Sounds like it was a great opportunity to see these beautiful creatures up close, for many it's the only chance they get. I'm lucky on my little Spanish island that we have many birds of prey.

    The love on this Forum for birds, BIF and birds in/out of captivity is very strong and I believe it's the biggest posted category here

    As such I think if you are going to post here then as a bare minimum the birds need

    * Feet (unless a close up head shot)
    * a non-distracting background
    *maximum effort given to focusing on the eyes and getting some catchlight in there

    All of your posted pics would have benefitted from attention to the above IMHO
    Canon EOS R5, R6 plus the usual suspects ......

      agree with Bo - I'm not a bird tog, but I've seen some of your shots and I think you need to consider points raised by her
