Haven't posted here for ages as I haven't taken anything worthy of submission. However, I've just returned from South Africa and am busy processing images. This shot was taken at Zimanga, which has hides specifically set up for birds and mammals. You can check out their website at http://zimanga.com/ This shot was taken about 20 minutes after sunrise.

EOS 1DX, 300 f2.8 II lens, 1.4 III converter, tripod mounted.

That's a perfect reflection Brian, looks natural if you look at it upside down as well. Presume the reflection pool was part of the set up in front of the hide

Yes Stan, the pool is at eye level and the bank at the end is about 4 metres away.
