    Chinese Ornamental Goose

I thought I'd chance my luck and visited the spot where I had seen this Chinese Ornamental goose and I was lucky to see it there.

Nice set Nat , like the first one best , have you cropped them much as I would have put the bird more on the right of the frame if you had the space to do it.

Thanks Steve. Yes, I cropped the image actually to remove a vehicle on the left of the goose. Not easy to get the goose towards the right. I really don't know how this bird came to be where it is now; has it escaped from somewhere?

There are rew living in the wild dotted around the UK and can only assume they have at some point escaped from private collections

Agree first is best. Always think these are a bit ugly.

Agree that the first is best. I may have cropped some off the right to lose the rocks and make it into a vertical 'letter box'.

                  Re: Chinese Ornamental Goose

Thanks Brian. Much appreciated coming from you. Yes, I thought of cropping the right side as well to make it a vertical letter box but I thought I'd leave it as it is for now. I am hoping I will see this bird again if I make another trip where I saw it last. I find that the Goose runs away as soon as it sees me. It also can fly away despite it's size and weight.
