    Spooked by a bird of prey !

    Taken on the Norfolk mudflats just as a bird of prey flew over head.

    James, I always know that when I click into a thread of yours it will be something special. And crikey this doesn't disappoint. Love the swirl of action, the graduated layers of water, still birds, birds beginning to move and birds in flight, the muted tones pulling it all together. Perfect timing, great image.

          Completely agree and I think this is a fantastic shot. Would make a fairly difficult jigsaw as well
