    Pied Wagtail

Well today was beautiful and sunny, so after making a bit of a mess of yesterdays birds, I set iso 800 and went up to the Downs and was glad to see a few Pied Wagtails that did not seem to mind me trying to take their shots. I think these ones are my best to date with the sigma.

Thanks Ant, Chris. One thing I forgot yesterday was trying exposure comp, today I tried it, plus I found that I have had the OS on 2. So clicked it back to where it says OS.

Lovely set Dave with some good detail , they are not the easiest of birds to get right due to the high contrast between the black and white .

Agree last is probably the best. Think we can forgive the image overload as Dave is enjoying his new lens.

A very nice set Dave. The last shot is the stand out one for me, good composition, very nice background, a more natural looking perch and that all important catch light in the eye.
