    Crow on a Rock

Out and about on Sunday, a bit over cast and dull.

took a picture of this Crow that seemed to be posing - didn't expect much due to high iso and slow shutter speed - so pleasantly surprised.

    70D, ISO 1600, 1/100 f6.3 @600mm

A good shot, but a bit to noisy. I have the 70D too and Jeff gave me great advice on having iso 800. Resize your photo then put it on flickr. Hope this helps. I do like it too.

        good detail

didn't expect much due to high iso
1600 is not a high ISO really - although not the same camera, I am quite happy to use my 7 DII up to 3200 with few problems

                Re: Crow on a Rock

It`s a nice photo , clean background , nice rock perch and a difficult bird to get friendly with , the noise only really shows when you enlarge it on flikr , so I`d say well done .
