    Buzzard at 600mm

    At long last I managed to get Benny the Buzzard, happy with it as it was at 600mm.

          Nice image Dave.

          Good detail in the Buzzard and clean background, although a bit speckally, something I also notice on my photos taken with the 70D.

                Thats a really good shot! Is it significantly cropped, Im wondering if that is contributing to the speckly background - not that it spoils it in any way...just a bit curious about such long focal lengths (possible because my max is 400mm)

                      Thanks very much for the kind words guys. Hi Nat, it was hand held, as soon as I saw it land I slowly walked as close as I could then knelt down to steady my self. Hi Brian I did crop it a bit as to get rid of twigs, but had to clone out the rest of them.
