    Robin in the Hawthorn

    Caught this little Robin trying to enjoy a few Hawthorn berries before a pesky photographer turned up !

      Thanks Tom, the bush was quite thick so just had to bide my time until I could get a reasonably clear shot.

                  Excellent eye detail but the robin itself looks a bit "muddy" and for me the background is a bit too messy. With birds so common willing to pose as robins I would always wait for a clearer background
