Nat these are not bad if a bit noisy. Looking at the data and with subject being quite still dropping shutter speed and ISO would have helped.

Agree with Ant, not a bad effort at all.

Thanks Ant, Dave and Tom. I forgot to lower the TV as I was try to take some BIF shots. I could not have lowered the ISO due to fading light.Just one of those things.

Nat if you check you used a shutter speed of 1/2000. Now your subject was fairly static so a lower shutter speed would have been quite useable.

Lets say you dropped this to 1/500 sec you could have dropped the ISO to 400 instead of the 1600 you used and have got the same result. This would of course produced a less noisy image.

Even for BIF I suspect a slower shutter speed would have been OK even if only one stop so the ISO would have been 800.

Yes, I know that I used a faster TV. Yes, agree that it was a stationary subject and could have dropped my TV. I am only wondering whether I could have achieved the same result by compensating by +1 or 2 & dropping the ISO. Must try it out next time. I should play around the 3 variables TV,AV and ISO a bit more.

Nat when you dial in pos exposure compensation ,you automatically lose shutter speed .its a catch 22
