      the bird is really good, loads of feather detail and the eye as well plus a catchlight.

      You know what I am going to say about the background but to be fair, that is the more likely environment you are likely to find a dunnock and could be a never ending wait to find anything better

        I like to see birds "in habitat" sometimes. That's exactly where you'd expect to find a dunnock, it tells us something about the nature of the bird. Birds isolated against a bare background get a bit boring and repetitive.

            Nice and sharp , with bags of detail , a little central for me , I would of took a little off the right and given some space to the left if you have it .

              it all depends on your purpose for photographing - with me I am looking for shots to enter in competitions or to sell and in both cases uncluttered backgrounds are the best
