Blackcap , How Spoiled we are these days

We are very lucky , to have recent camera bodies maintaining auto focus with converters attached , Digital photography has opened up so many opportunities for us . Going over my old photos , is quite good fun , and sometimes surprising . I thought I would revisit these old photos , as hopefully my PS skills have improved slightly . I took these on my old Canon 400D , with a 400mm lens with an attached 1.4 converter , most likely on a monopod , with manual focus ability only .

like the second shot Mark - would never have got that good with my 400D back then , although I was only just starting out then

Nice images. Agree we are quite fortunate will the technology.

Was looking at some of the images I have from way back when on slide film, remember that? Then it was manual focus, manual exposure, 36 shots before changing film and stuck with either ISO 100 or 400. No IS either.

Those of mine , I have to confess , mostly look quite inferior now .
