    Waxwing

A few of my shots taken last Tuesday with Jeff ( aka The Blackfox ). The birds gave us the run around flitting between locations in the town but we managed to nail them in the end with some half decent weak winter sunshine .

Nice images and middle one for me too. Shadow of the berries just takes edge of the others. Mind you I'd be happy to have take any of these. My local ones seem to prefer perching in the tallest of trees!

Much as I would have like to, I am not 100% OK and I have a hospital procedure on 12th Jan 2017. Until such time, I am pacing myself and only taking photos around the cathedral, and other subjects close at hand. Health before wealth or birds is my motto now.

                          attn. nat .

nat you dont even have to get out of the car ,drive down to behind the chemists/doctors on right hand side as you go over bridge .drive along the dirt track behind the houses stop when you see the rowan trees and berries ,the birds are feeding on them .stay in car and shoot out of the window
