Love that, Tony, that is real classy. Beautiful use of subdued lighting and fades to black in all the right places. Gorgeous.Canon EOS 7D

Re: Pelican brief
Yes I used the highlight and shadow in NIKS to bring out areas on the body and drop down other areas, then lifted bits, I removed a couple of blurred nearly invisible branches in the backround in Photoshop to clean it up too, I could possible lift the eye a little.Canon 1DX, 50D, EF500 F4.0 L, EF100-400 f/4.5-5.6L I , EF100-400 f/4.5-5.6L II, EF70-200 f/2.8L II, EF180 f3.5L Macro, EF 24-105 f/4L, EF17-40 f/4L, EF2.0X III, EF1.4X III, 430EX II, MR-14EX...

Re: Pelican brief
Dave does this work with your comments?
I have lifted the eye detail slightly and added some darkened area to the right of the bird to centralise it slightly and pull the bird off the edge of the canvas so to speak. Hope it improves it, I have also tweaked the lighting ever so slightly.
