            Cracking shot, dare I say that I find the out of focus lines in the background distracting, particularly the horizontal line in front of the beak, but happy to say have no idea what you could have done to remove them, good feather detail and catchlight too.

                It's just the actual height of the perches the birds decided to land on Paul ,all the stonechat /linnet shots were taken by myself and Steve both of us in one car .if the birds landed high it's a clean background ,a few inches lower and you get the OOF grasses .you really wouldn't believe how close you can get at this spot ,which makes rapid target acquisition quiet hard ,I still have a few hundred untouched files I should think Steve has the same
