          Nat.

          I think that the first one is the better of the two as most of the bird is against the background of the water. I'd probably have left it a little more headroom, if that was a possibility of course.

            I agree with Chris in his view on #1. I can't seem to get near them, they always see or hear me coming and they're off!! Secondly, one of the Bu**ers has had about 10 fish out of my Pond, early morning yesterday, left feathers everywhere, trampled the pond flowers and left the remaining few fish traumatised.

            Rant over!!

                  Thank you Chris,Paul and Brian for your comments. I could have left a bit more head room with #1 but I just cropped out a bit of land above it. Can always be re-instated.

                        Thanks Supergeeman and Ian. I must agree that Herons are now becoming bolder and invade domestic pools and ponds for fish esp gold fish.
