                    Unfortunately not, and I've yet to visit Bempton. I've been to Skomer a few times though.

                    Anyway, Minsmere will just have to do as a suitable alternative for me (not for puffins, obviously!).

                      I really like that and it is different from the norm, though with all of you seeming migrating north with big lenses to carry I forsee a lot more puffing...sorry Puffin.

                        Better than that tony if the winds in the right direction I.e from the west it keeps the gannets at eye level ,bempton really is a must do for every wildlife togger ,my past species there include ,gannets ,puffins,razorbill ,fulmars,kittiwakes,a host of small brown jobs including grasshopper warblers,sedge warblers ,raptors include kestrels,sparrowhawks,short eared owls,barn owls ,and perigrines all in about two miles of cliff top walks with viewing platforms that jut out over the cliffs .
                        A close up gannet with its six foot wingspan really is the creme-de-Creme though
