    Goldfinch

    Placed this thin perch in my garden specifically to try and get the berry laden cotoneaster as the background and luckily didn't have to wait too long for this male Goldfinch to oblige

    Very nice shot. I must have a go at doing something list that to entice the many finches that visit my garden out of the increasingly leafy tree near the feeder!
