    Never seen this before...

    We have a number of bird feeders around the garden with these just outside the lounge window. They're the particular favourites of the sparrows that live around here and the fat balls in particular are often mobbed by them. Today I saw a solitary sparrow doing something that I had never witnessed before... actually climb down inside the cage. Not once but repeatedly and for so long I had time to go upstairs and get a camera. Quality not great as it was shot through salt encrusted double glazing and directly uploaded but I thought I'd share it here asking is this rare?
