    Robin and Thrush Juvenile

    Having just acquired a 7D2 I'm still getting my head round the shooting options while being inspired by what you guys put on here.

    Had a couple from the garden today. Quite pleased with the robin at ISO 2000 shame about the foliage.

    The thrush appeared while I was making lunch and hung around till I grabbed the camera.

    Took a drive round the island later and got something special but not a good shot.....

    Nice shots. They both look very sharp and there's nothing wrong with some background context in my opinion.

      Nice sharp pics , like seeing the Thrush pics , not a common bird these days .

        Very nice, don't worry about the BG I like that gives the picture a more natural look

          Robin's a corker... the Thrush image looks as if there was something very close to the camera giving it a 'misty' band across the bottom???
          Cheers;

            Thanks for looking and your comments.

            Lee, the 'misty band' I think is a reflection of light off the window sill as I hadn't put the hood on the lens, I got rid of the worst of it with the graduated filter tool in Lightroom.
