    Test bird

    Sorry guys, not sure what this little guy is, just a group of first's / test's

    1DXmkII (first shot in raw) 200-400 with the canon mkIII x2 extender (hand held) and first attempt 'ever' with dpp software. Does it work? or have I gone too far with the processing?

    1/500, f/8, iso 320, 800mm

    Any pointers greatly received.

    .DAVID.

    Looks very good from here, David. What exactly did you do in DPP (which is mainly what I use)?

    It's a dunnock, by the way

      Thanks Chris,
      Not a great deal if I'm honest, cropped it in a bit little contrast and saturation.

        Bird looks like juv dunnock. Nice image too, DPP seems to be working well.

          The latest release of DPP has come along a great deal IMO... if only it had targeted rather than global adjustments!

          Anyhow; looking good from here... IDX II and a 200-400... that's a seriously heavy set-up for hand-held! Well done.
          Cheers;
