Shore Lark

A real rarity in Shropshire causing a bit of excitement when this bird was spotted. I spent two full days walking up and around the Clee Hill in the South of the County before I was able to get close enough for a decent shot. Disappointingly on here and on Flickr it looks soft but pin sharp on my PC but hey ho thrilled to capture it as it was the first record for the County.

I have seen some of yours and other peoples uploads from flikr look a bit soft before , but coming back later they have looked sharper , I think Flikr messes with stuff which effects both photo streams and uploads from time to time . Top marks for dedication , and as long as it looks good enough on your own P.C that`s where it counts the most .

Good shot of quite rare bird. As saw one in East Anglia many years ago.
