    Couple more from my trip to Portugal. Quite a large crop - just couldn't get closer.

    Cropped or not they look o.k here , pretty bird .

      what a lovely looking bird and such a shame you couldnt get closer as the crop has quite softened them

        Beautiful birds with a charming call. In past have been odd occurrences in South East/East Anglia.

        Shots are a little soft but good record of seeing this bird.

                  Thanks for the comments. I was pleased to get some photos of such a fine looking bird but disappointed not to get better shots - wasn't sure whether to post them or not.
