That's a lovely set Nathaniel. Number 3 is my favourite.

May I suggest that when you are photographing white birds, you under expose by a stop. This will give more definition in the whites and although the background will be darker, it doesn't matter because the main subject is what we are looking at.

Thanks Colin and Trev. Actually this was more of a grab shot as the Egret was being chased by a Heron but I couldn't get both in the frame. Yes, I have noted Colin's hint. I always have difficulties with whites!!!!!!!
