    Great White Egret

    This bird is almost a resident at Blashord Lakes but it is rare to see him at anything other than a distance but the other week he flew very close to the Goosander hide

      Nicely captured Stan.

      I have only ever seen him at the curve of the other side of the lake.

              He must have been around now for some 5 years, the wardens have even given him a name, although I cant remember it at the moment
