Composition ?

Taken this morning.
The image is uncropped.
My preference is the original (#1).
Did not do a lot of PP for #2

Sorry, Gary, half a duck just doesn't work for me (unless on a plate - oops sorry, couldn't resist that one !!)

So it would have to be number 2. Might be worth trying to squeeze a bit more out of the head- lighten shadows/get in closer if you can.

the uncropped version does not really work as you have only half a bird each side of the frame and they are both out of focus so your composition with the crop is spot on and you have laft slightly more room on the left for the bird to fly into
