    tumbling down owls

    two from the fighting short eared owls set ,they are now locked together by there claws and falling to earth I think the expressions on there faces says it all really .the second shot is just before they hit the ground

            Thanks all for the comments ,on Friday Paul I counted 5 in my field of view ,final count for the marsh was 9 shorties ,15 marsh harriers ,several kestrels ,and 4 ring tail hen harriers,plus 1 male hen Harrier . Oh and I spooked a sparrow hawk as I drove out of the car park ,hopefully Steve’s coming over weds and we always do well together ,will also be looking for the rather rare water pipits
