Love everything about it Jeff, except the OOF highlights. Tone those down and that will be a wall hanger. You are right ..... looks much better on Flickr.

I was thinking more of toning them down, rather than cropping them out.

This was so easy Jeff, it took me less than thirty seconds:

                  • Make a rough selection of the central area, using the lasso tool, keeping well away from the unwanted highlights.
                  • Invert the selection (Ctrl, Shift, I) so that the highlights and surrounding areas are now selected.
                  • Set feather to around 50.
                  • Make a new layer (Ctrl J)
                  • Bring up levels (Ctrl L)
                  • Underneath the levels histogram is an output levels slider. Move the right hand slider from 255 to around 230 and it will tone down any of the bright highlights.

It has taken me far longer to remember and write than it took me to do. Our more astute members will note that there is perhaps an unnecessary step or two within the sequence. I could have just selected the out of focus highlights, then feathered and then not used the selection as a new layer and just acted on the selection. However, I am comfortable in my workload to make a selection and inverse where required. Equally, using that section as a new layer allowed me some fine control by altering the opacity or blending mode of that layer. Not required this time, but good habits are good habits.
