    Lightroom and the snow bunting again

    having another been dragged round the shops all day play around ,again a less than perfect shot given a bit of enhancement

    Sorry Jeff hate to say it but I don't like it, looks more like a painting than a photo - unless that is what you were trying to achieve

            I can see what you were going for and I can see promise but I think I would try toning down or widening the vignette a little as it is a bit intrusive.

            Like you, I've been playing with some filters & effects myself, mainly due to not being able to get out & about much recently but I've not had the guts to post any here yet!

              An interesting image Jeff - I too am not absolutely sure about it - I wonder if it might be worth experimenting with the vignette to make it more evenly circular/oval and more centred on the subject - at the moment, there seems (to my eye ay least) to be a slight excess of vignetted area in the bottom corners.

              I would also be tempted to try foregoing the usual mantra of giving the bird more room in the direction it is facing and set the centre of the body at the centre of the image.

              Just my two penn'orth.
