    Song Thrush at sunset

    I heard this bird singing outside the back door and grabbed the camera. I couldn't get a proper view through the French doors so I went the long way around and peeped around the corner of the house to get this photo. The sun was beginning to set and I loved the way it shone on its open beak.

          That is delightful Carol.

          A very simplistic shot on the face of it, but only because everything is just right. I have checked it out on Flickr and it looks even better seeing it larger.
