    Kestrel 2018-7

    As it was going to be very sunny today was worth getting out early to photograph the nest. The harsh light later in the day can make things difficult.

    Despite only being a little after 7 the sitting bird was panting due to the heat

    Not quite high enough to see into the nest when she moved so no idea how many eggs. Still think these are quite young birds so won't be surprised is there are fewer than previous years.
