      nice pair Trev. The female is often ignored as she is drab in comparison to the male

          Agree with Stan. The same could be said for many of the female birds, but quite often they are more photogenic, especially female eiders.

              Quite agree, I do a lot of wood carving and it takes me longer to burn in and paint the feather detail of female species of many of the ducks than the males
