    Very nice again Stan, is this in an Avery as it has a ring on its leg, if not where about did you shoot this bird as they like the cold normally.

      Hi Sacha
      Not an aviary, a wild bird ,one of many who visit the feeders at Blashford Lakes this time of year. A lot of the birds are ringed to keep track and build a picture of their movements and in fact when I was there on Tuesday one of the wardens was actually catching the birds for ringing weighing etc
