Goldfinch - lens test

Having just got a new 70-300 L lens I was looking for something to test it out on and this little fellow was hungry. Not a spectacular picture as produced by some of the other members but as a test for teh lens I am quite happy with the first few puictures, this is a crop of about 25% of teh full image

Can't argue with that and speaking as someone who hasn't yet taken a decent shot of a goldie, well done.

Thanks I wish I could say it was only the lens that was tuby and white I am sure that lens will continue to perform well.
