Another shot from the Ythan Estuary this time a Little Tern.
I've been practicing capturing birds in flight of late.

good timing and a neat shot. I haven't been to the Ythan since 1982, I had a team working in Aberdeen and when I went up to check on progress used to stay / eat at the Udney (Arms?) Hotel, then walk the estuary to watch the fishermen and enjoy those glorious sand dunes in the sunset. Its a cracking spot

It sure is.
Its only approx 20 minutes from home so its great to spend some time there.

Nice shot Mike, you've captured the bird in a good pose and there's some good detail in the white feathers.
