    Hungry mouths to feed

The eggs in my camera nesting box hatched yesterday - all eight of them. The Great Tit parents have a full time job filling those huge mouths!! It is very easy to while away far too much time watching them!! Mother is always fidgetting about - cleaning the nest, tucking in the babies, feeding them and thidying up again!

I know exactly how you feel Diana. I spent ages watching Blue Tits on our nest box camera last year.

As per Springwatch, we decided to give our family a name... The Fidgets

Let's hope all eight survive and manage to fledge. Look forward to your next update.
Agreed and get your camera ready for when they are ready to go

I wonder how long it takes - we are away over the Bank Holiday weekend, hope they can hang on till we get home!!
Might suffer from 'empty nest' syndrome if they are not there.

What a wonderful sight Diana, you are so lucky - I would not be able to drag myself away from the tele.

Agreed... I'm another one that would have to "watch" all day.

I'm still putting bird seed out with mealie worms in and spend a fair bit of time just watching them all
